Opportunities for Students
We are constantly searching for smart students that would like to help us with solving our projects. MSc. students can carry out their diploma theses with us. The Ph.D. students may become members of our group too (including the students from abroad). In case that you are interested, please be so kind and contact any member of the group for more details. Whom We Need Now
Currently, we are seeking for the students that would like to participate in the following activities:
- Detecting and blurring the human faces in images
- Detecting wet road, ice and snow on the road by image analysis
- Measuring rain, fog, and snow falling density by image analysis
- Detecting buildings in LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) images
- Detecting terrain edges in LIDAR images
- Recognising the type of forest stands from laser data
- GPU computing (CUDA)
This can be done as diploma theses; some of the problems could also be suitable for doctoral students. Some money can be paid as a wage in dependence on successfulnes an in dependence for whom the problem is solved. Please, contact Eduard for more details about the above topics.
